Terms of use

Terms, in plain words

The agreement between you and Claw when you use Claw Careers. By joining, you accept these terms and the community rules.

Last updated 4 November 2026

The service

Claw Careers lets law students and advocates build a portfolio, apply to openings and, for verified advocates who choose, receive briefs from Claw. It lets law firms, chambers and legal teams post openings and review applicants. Claw operates it.

Free, always

No fee to candidates

Joining, applying and receiving briefs cost nothing.

No fee to hirers

Posting, reviewing and hiring cost nothing. Claw takes no share of any salary or fee.

No guarantees

We do not promise jobs or briefs

Claw does not guarantee that you will be shortlisted, interviewed, hired or offered any brief, or that any hirer or client will engage you. Hiring decisions belong to hirers; engagement decisions belong to clients.

We check enrolments and organisations with care, but we do not vouch for the conduct of any hirer, candidate or client. Verification times are not promised.

Your account

  • Give true details, and keep them up to date.
  • Keep your sign-in codes to yourself. You are responsible for what is done from your account.
  • Hirers must use a work email and be authorised to hire for their organisation.
  • Follow the community rules.

What you upload

You keep the rights in your work. You let Claw show it to the people the platform shows it to, as described in the privacy notice. Upload only what you are allowed to share, with client details removed.

Briefs from Claw

Fees

Relationship
The engagement is between the advocate and the client. Claw is not a party to it

Ending your use

You can delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or the rules, and we will tell you why.

Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Please write to the Claw desk first; most problems can be solved that way.
